Degree college was started in 1972. It was started on AIDED basis and offered program ie Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM) affiliated to University of Mumbai from 1972 . In 2005 ,Degree college added Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) program . In 2014 ,we started with Post graduate section and started to offer Program in Master of Commerce in Advance Accountancy & Master of Commerce in Business Management.
Our Degree college Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM) program is permanently affiliated to University of Mumbai and college is register under section 2(f) & 12(b) of UGC act .
From 2004 till now college has undergone 3 NAAC cycle and with every cycle its score under NAAC rating has increased. As per 2020 , Our college is Reaccredited with B grade (2.38) (3rd cycle).
B.COM Program is Aided section and BMS & MCOM is self finance section.
Degree college participate in various University events through college students council , National Service Scheme (NSS) unit and Department of Life Long Learning & Extension(DLLLE)
The College has Gymkhana facilities for conduction indoor sports ie Table Tennis ,Carrom,Chess.
For Out door activities , college hires ground at crossmaidan and University Pavilion.
The College has Library facility for students and has various schemes as per University norm for weaker section.
The College has Scholarship & Freeship schemes as per Government of Maharashtra.
